Step 1

9:00 am - Meet your tour guide at your hotel and start the day.

Gateway of India - Your tour will begin with a visit to the iconic Gateway of India, a stunning monument built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. Admire the impressive architecture and soak up the lively atmosphere of this bustling area.

Hanging Gardens - Our next stop will be the Hanging Gardens, a beautiful terraced garden perched on top of Malabar Hill. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take in the panoramic views of the city.

Mani Bhawan - We will then head to Mani Bhawan, a museum dedicated to the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi. Explore the various exhibits and learn about the Father of the Nation's role in India's struggle for independence.

Step 6

Dhobi Ghat - From Mani Bhawan, we will visit Dhobi Ghat, the world's largest open-air laundry. Witness the unique sight of rows of concrete wash pens where clothes are soaked, beaten, and scrubbed by the washermen, known as dhobis.

Step 7

Lunch Break - Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Dharavi Slum Tour - After lunch, we will head to Dharavi, one of the largest slums in Asia, located in the heart of Mumbai. A local guide will lead you on a walking tour through the narrow lanes and alleys of the slum, where you can see the small-scale industries in action and learn about the challenges and opportunities faced by the residents.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya - We will end the day with a visit to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum. This magnificent building houses an impressive collection of art, artifacts, and archaeological finds that showcase the rich cultural heritage of India.
