7:00 AM - Meet your tour driver at your hotel in Vizag and depart for Araku Valley. The journey will take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on traffic conditions and the location of your hotel.
10:30 AM - Arrive at Borra Caves, one of the largest caves in the country, and explore the stunning limestone formations that are over a million years old. Your guide will take you through the caves and show you various formations including Shiv Parvathi, Tiger, Mother Child, Cows udder, Human Brain, Crocodile, and Rishi’s Beard.
12:00 PM - Next, head to the Tribal Museum, which is set within a red building made of mud and metals. The museum showcases the culture and traditions of the local tribal communities and has a rich collection of artifacts that includes clay figures of tribal people, hunting tools, kitchen utensils, tribal jewelry, musical instruments, and masks.
1:00 PM - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
2:00 PM - Visit Katiki Waterfalls, one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Araku. This 50 feet high waterfall is formed by river Gosthani originating from the Borra caves and is a must-see sight in Araku.
3:00 PM - Proceed to Galikonda Viewpoint, standing at a height of 4320 feet above sea level on the Eastern Ghats, and experience the austere beauty of the picturesque landscape. The viewpoint offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
4:00 PM - Lastly, visit Ananthagiri Coffee Plantations, spread over the Ananthagiri Hills and serving as a major source of income for the Araku tribal people. It boasts of being the first producer of organic coffee in India. Here, you can enjoy the aroma of coffee, pleasant climate, and breathtaking surroundings.
5:00 PM - After sightseeing, drive back to Vizag and drop off at your hotel.
8:00 PM - Arrive back at your hotel in Vizag, where your tour ends.
