Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrive Rajkot

  • On arrival at Rajkot airport assistance & transfer to hotel.
    Later visit Jubilee Garden which house monuments of colonial time including MG High School, Kaba Gandhi No Delo, Rashtriya Shala, Watson Museum, Lang Library, and Rotary Midtown Library.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

  • Rajkot - Dwarka (225kms/ 4hrs approx)

  • Drive to Dwarka check in at hotel. Later visit Dwarkadhish temple dedicated to the god Krishna. Nageshwar Temple one of the 12 jyothirlingas. Rest time free to relax on the beach.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

  • Dwarka - Porbandar - Somnath (230kms/ 5hrs approx)

  • Drive to Somnath, enroute visit Porbandar the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi. Continue drive to Somnath and check in at hotel. Later visit Somnath Temple, Paanch Pandav Caves & Sun Mandir.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 4

  • Somnath - Sasan Gir National Park (45kms/ 1hrs approx)

  • Drive to Sasan Gir National Park and check in at resort. Gypsy safari in Gir Wildlife Sanctuary the only place in the world, outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Gir is also one of the finest bird sanctuaries.

    SAFARI IN SASAN GIR NATIONAL PARK REMAIN SUSPENDED FROM JUNE TILL SEPTEMBER DUE TO MONSOON.

Day 5

  • Sasan Gir National Park - Excursion to Junagarh (60kms/ 1hrs approx one way)

  • Morning Jeep safari in National Park. Later excursion to visit Junagadh an ancient fortified city at the foot of the temple-studded Girnar Hill where Ashoka inscribed 14 edicts on a huge boulder. Drive back to Sasan Gir.

  • overnight at resort.

Day 6

  • Sasan Gir - Diu (100kms/ 2hrs approx)

  • Drive to Diu check in at hotel. Later visit Diu Fort a large and imposing structure situated on the coast of the island. Also visit old town which has old mansions belonging to rich Portuguese and Indian merchants. Rest time free to relax on the beach.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

  • Diu

  • Breakfast at hotel. Day free and easy to relax on the beach and personal activities.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 8

  • Diu - Departure (flight)

  • Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
