Foz Beach

Praia da Foz – Tucked away on the southern edge of the Arrábida Natural Park, near Sesimbra, Praia da Foz is a small and secluded cove framed by impressive limestone cliffs. A short and easy walk from the nearby parking area leads to its golden sandy beach, where the surrounding cliffs act as a natural shelter from the region’s northerly winds.

This wild and unspoiled beach remains unofficial and unguarded, with no sunbeds or kiosks, preserving its natural and tranquil character. It is the perfect place for a peaceful walk, relaxing by the sea, or enjoying a beautiful sunset along the Atlantic coast.

Visitors should be aware that the Atlantic currents can be stronger, so extra care is recommended when entering the water.

Christ the King

Cristo Rei – One of the most iconic viewpoints near Lisbon, offering a breathtaking panoramic view over the Tagus River, the 25 de Abril Bridge, and the city skyline. This impressive monument, inspired by Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, stands as a symbol of peace and gratitude.

The surrounding area is spacious and tranquil, making it a perfect place to relax, take photos, and admire the scenery. It is also considered one of the best spots to watch the sunset over Lisbon, when the city and river are bathed in warm golden light.
