Itinerary
Stop 1
Start at a popular landmark of the city, its city hall whcih was built in the early 20th century. Boasting a white marble facade, its triangular design is a unique architectural style that will impress you. Its interiors boast paintings from the 18th century.
Stop 2
As you continue, you will walk through one of the famous squares known as Plaza San Francisco. When you reach the Cathedral of Saint Mary the great. Here you will get to see the remnants as the structures were destroyed during the Spanish civil war era.

You will then walk on one of the main pedestrian streets known as Calle Mayor. It is paved with blue marble tiles which adds to its aesthetics. It is where the city comes to life and you will come across many boutique stores, cafes and restaurants along the way.

Walk by the Roman Theater museum designed by the architect Rafael Moneo. Inside the museum are archealogical treasures that were hidden for centuries. This site played an important role during Roman times.
Next, you will come across an important historical site, the defensive city walls - a military fortification that dates back to several centuries ago.
Finish the tour at the Castillo de la Concepción, a medieval fortress from the middle ages, built on the site of a natural harbour. In the past, the fortress had an important military significance.
