Your day begins at the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx. Stand at the foot of these colossal structures, marvel at their ancient engineering, and absorb the timeless energy of this iconic desert panorama.

Next, travel south to Sakkara, the vast necropolis of ancient Memphis. Here you’ll visit the remarkable Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the very first pyramid ever built — a groundbreaking achievement that forever changed Egypt’s architectural history. Wander through ancient tombs adorned with vibrant carvings that offer a rare glimpse into daily life thousands of years ago.

As the afternoon settles, board your comfortable air-conditioned bus for the overnight journey to Aswan, watching the desert landscape drift by as Egypt’s mystical south draws near.

Your exploration begins with the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Reached by a gentle motorboat ride, this breathtaking island sanctuary offers a peaceful and truly atmospheric experience. As the temple rises into view, reflected in the shimmering Nile waters, you’ll understand why Philae is considered one of Egypt’s most romantic ancient sites.

In the afternoon, board your Nile Cruise, your floating home for the next few nights and settle in as the river drifts quietly around you. Enjoy the views, the gentle breeze and the anticipation of what lies ahead.

Today you sail along the legendary Nile, taking in some of the most beautiful river scenery in the world. Relax on deck as palm-lined villages, green fields and desert backdrops create an ever-changing panorama along the riverbanks.

Your first stop is the striking Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely designed with perfectly symmetrical twin entrances dedicated to two gods. Its riverside position creates a dramatic and unforgettable setting, especially as the sunlight reflects off the stone reliefs.

Continue your journey north toward Luxor, often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum. As the cruise glides along the water, imagine the ancient pharaohs whose footsteps once echoed through the monumental temples that still stand today.

After breakfast, your cruise glides into the majestic city of Luxor, where an extraordinary day of exploration awaits along the East Bank of the Nile.

Your journey begins at the monumental Karnak Temple, a sprawling complex of towering columns, sacred lakes and ancient sanctuaries. Walk through the breathtaking Hypostyle Hall, where 134 enormous pillars rise like stone forest trunks, and feel the powerful legacy of the pharaohs who ruled from this sacred site.

Next, visit the elegant Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated by history and aligned with the river. Here, the impressive Avenue of Sphinxes greets visitors with its long, ceremonial pathway once linking Luxor to Karnak. Explore its grand courtyards, statues and carvings as your guide brings ancient Thebes to life.

Return to your Nile Cruise for another peaceful evening drifting along the river.

After breakfast, we cross to Luxor’s West Bank, the ancient realm of the afterlife and one of Egypt’s greatest archaeological treasures.

Your first stop is the iconic Valley of the Kings, a vast necropolis hidden within desert cliffs. Step into several of the royally decorated tombs, their walls glowing with colourful hieroglyphs and sacred scenes that once guided pharaohs into eternity.

We then continue to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece carved into sheer limestone cliffs. This remarkable temple honours Egypt’s only female pharaoh, whose reign was marked by peace, prosperity and visionary leadership.

Our final visit is to the towering Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues that have watched over the Theban plains for more than 3,000 years.

In the afternoon, travel by air-conditioned bus to the Red Sea town of Hurghada, where you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening after a day filled with ancient wonders.

After travelling back to Cairo, settle into your hotel before setting out to explore the city’s rich history and culture.

Your first visit is the world-famous Egyptian Museum, home to an astonishing collection of ancient treasures, including the spectacular artefacts from King Tutankhamun’s tomb. Wander through its halls and uncover stories that span thousands of years.

Next, explore the Coptic Quarter of Old Cairo, where you’ll visit the historic Hanging Church, gracefully suspended above ancient Roman gateway remains.

Your journey continues to the impressive Mosque of Mohamed Ali, perched atop the Citadel of Saladin. From here, enjoy sweeping views across Cairo’s skyline.

We finish at the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a lively maze of shops, lanterns, spices and traditional cafés,  the perfect place to immerse yourself in Cairo’s vibrant spirit.
