Ol Pejeta to Samburu National Reserve

We’ll rise early to enjoy the morning light and first stirrings of wildlife upon the grasslands here.
After breakfast, we’ll take a final game drive through the sanctuary and we’re off to Samburu Park.
This will be an easy and picturesque drive over the Kenya highlands, and we’ll pass through several climate zones on our way north.
We’ll arrive at Samburu Park and its lifeblood, the Ewaso Nyiro River, providing the wildlife with its life-sustaining waters. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Here at the river, we will look for lion, buffalo, elephant, and even hippo.

There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species in the Waso Nyiro River including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. Bird life is as plentiful as wildlife at Samburu National Reserve, which boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
