Itinerary

Day 1

Meals Included

  • Tsavo East

    From Nairobi, you will start with Tsavo East, West and finish with Amboseli

    Early morning pick up and Drive to Tsavo West national park (3 Hour Drive) and get to see Kenya’s townships and the laid back Hakuna Matata Culture. 

    Enjoy a game drive on rout to your hotels followed by an evening game drive after lunch. 

    The park is rich with wildlife and birdlife inhabiting in the savannah plains of the park, the park is recognized for being a home to Man eaters, large sized red elephants and the few remaining population of Hirola antelopes in Kenya. Animals living in Tsavo West national park include lion, elephants, cheetah, wild dogs, antelopes, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, zebra, hyenas, lesser kudu, klipspringers, gerenuk, mongoose, nocturnal porcupine, fringe-eared Oryx, giraffe, crocodiles, hippos among others.

Day 2

Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park

  • observation Hill

    After Breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive on your way out of Tsavo West Heading to Amboseli. The Drive is roughly 3 Hours. You will also have an option to visiting the maasai village, which will allow you to experience the Maasai culture at its best. This experience is very interactive, and we hope you will dance and jump along.

    On this day you will also visit the observation Hill. This cone-shaped hill is situated in the Western part of the park and it is the only place where you can get out of your vehicle and take a walk. The hill has clear volcanic origin and was formed during Mt. Kilimanjaro activity in the Pleistocene; from up here, the view spans 360 degrees throughout the Park exposing its arid areas, marshes lands, lakes and if the day is clear, the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro to the South, is spectacular.

Day 3

Amboseli to Tsavo East

  • Depart Amboseli for Tsavo East

    Depart Amboseli for Tsavo East. On this day you will have an opportunity to participate in an optional ballon safari in the morning.

    You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation as you get ready for your evening game drive and 2 hours night game drive.

    Tsavo’s scenic views and the fact that it is a dry and unforgiving place where crowding into smaller spaces for access to water and habitat is common in the dry season. Making animals more susceptible to predators.

    On the plus side, as the weaker and the diseased became easy picking, only the fittest and those who have the best genetic material father the next generation. Ensuring the species as a whole is more equipped to survive in this hardship.

    Night game drive is an adventurous memorable moment that is carried out at night in an open safari vehicle with a canvas canopy, spotlight torches for clear viewing, driven by a professional guide

    During the night game drive, you will be able to view the rarely seen nocturnal animals such as civet cats, aardvarks, porcupines, genets, mongoose, bush babies, big cats like lions, leopards, spotted hyenas among others which tend to hide in the bushes and shrubs during the day

    This activity starts at around 8:00 pm after dinner, during the night game drive there are items that visitors should carry including insect repellent to prevent you from biting insects which will be attracted by the spotlight torches, cameras to capture the incredible moments and take great photos, wear cold clothes to protect you from night coldness, neutral clothes among others.

Day 4

Tsavo East National Park and Return

  • After a good night sleep and heavy breakfast.

    Enjoy a morning game drive on your way out of the national park. you can choose to return to your hotel, residence, or directly to the airport depending on your plans.
