Itinerary

What to expect

The first step of your journey will be a pickup from your Marsa Alam hotel by your guide. Thereafter, they'll take you to the Sheikh Malek meeting place, which is around 25 kilometers north of the Marsa Alam airport.

When you get there, they'll give you a quad runner and give you a driving test before sending you off on a 22-kilometer trip across the Eastern Desert's highlands. On your way to meet a Bedouin family, you'll make a few pit stops to gain insight into their culture (such as houses, food, education, religion, etc.).

After riding your motorcycle back to the quad runner station, you can have some Bedouin tea, ride a camel, and smoke a water pipe. In the end, you'll be taken back to your Marsa Alam hotel.
