Itinerary

Day 1
  • Arrival of your flight at Entebbe International Airport and warmly welcomed our representative. You will be assisted with customs and immigration after meet your guide who will transfer you to your hotel. Check in, followed by dinner and overnight stay at Hotel No.

Day 2

Fly From Entebbe to Bwindi National Park

  • After breakfast, you may leave your extra luggage behind at the hotel to be collected on Day 5. This morning you will carry your 15kg luggage and drive to Entebbe Airport for your morning flight to Kihihi in Bwindi National Park. At Kihihi Airstrip, your driver guide will be waiting for you to drive you to your accommodation.

    Bwindi is estimated to have half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas –300 and more live within Bwindi boundaries.

Day 3

Bwindi National Park-Gorilla Trekking

  • After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the mountains gorilla trekking inside the Bwindi forest. You will need to carry drinking water, rain jacket and hiking boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla trekking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas.

    Bwindi Impenetrable National Park’s 331 sq. kms of montane and lowland forest jungle lies in southwestern Uganda, 540 kms from Kampala. A [ ] World Heritage Site that is only accessible on foot. It is one of the richest ecosystems in Africa providing a habitat for over 90 mammals (including 11 primates), 348 species of birds (including 23 highly localized Albertine Rift endemics), 202 species of butterflies, 163 tree species, over 100 species of ferns, 27 species of frogs, chameleons, geckos and other endangered species. Bwindi is however most notable for her 340 Mountain Gorillas, about half the world’s population of this critically endangered primate.

    After trekking, come back to the lodge for late lunch and spend the rest of the evening relaxing.

Day 4

Bwindi National Park -Second Gorilla Trekking

  • After an early breakfast and briefing once again, you will proceed to the park for the second Gorilla trekking. Buhoma sector was first opened when the Mubare Gorilla Family was set for tourists in 1993. The Gorilla families in Buhoma sector have since multiplied to the various families of Mubare, Rushegura and Habiyanja.

Day 5

Bwindi National Park -Fly from Kihihi to Entebbe

  • Breakfast at the lodge and check out

    Breakfast at the lodge and check out. Transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your scheduled flight to Entebbe in order to catch your outbound flight back home, your extra luggage will be brought to you at the airport. Depending on your flight times, you will have lunch in Entebbe or carry a packed Lunch.
