Itinerary
ITINERARY
Pick up from a coordination point with prior advance notice and start of the route along the Pucallpa / Campo Verde / Honoria highway
- HONORIA DISTRICT, belonging to the province of Puerto Inca - Huánuco, the entrance to the access road is in the Campo Verde district, located at 34km from the CFB.
- Our river adventure will begin, we will navigate along the Pachitea River for 30 minutes in the local boat.
- Beginning of the walk (40 min) to reach our first point on the SHANAY TIMPISHKA river.
- ECOALVERGE IMPICCHATORI, a space located at the mouth of the boiling river, where the water temperature of 40°C lends itself to a thermo-medicinal bath. Also, we will visit a space where the temperature is lower, to enjoy the water.
- Arrival in Mayantuyacu, a Naturist Ecological Center. Here the water is around 96°C, its master Asháninka healer Juan Flores has shown the world the validity of traditional Amazonian medicine, from his Mayantuyacu Center in the heart of the Amazon jungle the National Geographic team has collected important photographic documents and chronicles of experiences with master plants and valuable ethnomedicinal resources. Huishtin Sanctuary is a shamanic healing and personal discovery center located on the Pachitea River in the high Amazon rainforest in Peru. Here at the Sanctuary one can begin a journey towards total mind, bodily health and personal awakening. Located among the ancient medicinal trees in the Amazon rainforest.
- Picnic lunch at the Impicchatori ecolodge.
Then, return to the path back.
