Tar-02 : Jungle Paradise – Carpishuyacu Waterfall & San Jose Thermal Baths

The Carpishuyacu waterfall is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and attractive in all of Tarapoto.

• In the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel to leave Tarapoto, to go to the Carpishuyacu waterfall.
• After 40 minutes by car we will arrive at the entrance of the reserve where the waterfall is located. We will begin a walk through the interior of the jungle. We will have access to the fauna of the place, in which the guide will give us some explanations about the trees with healing properties used by the locals and their ancestors. 
• We will reach the top of the Cordillera Escalera mountain and, at that place, we will use a rustic raft to cross the turquoise river until we reach a hot spring.
• After passing through these natural pools, we will continue our way through the mountain, observing the slopes and the exotic Amazonian landscape. 
• We will arrive at the Carpishuyacu Waterfall where we will bathe in its two pools., surrounded by trees and rocks, which we can photograph, at the same time we rest a little and relax from the walk.
• Then, we will begin the return to have our typical Amazonian lunch. 

After this break, we will return to Tarapoto to finish our activity.
