Itinerary

Stop 1 Stay & Play – Elephant Day. Full day tour Mahout’s Life with lunch

Itinerary

6am. Pickup from hotel in Phuket. (The exact pickup time will be confirmed with your booking.)

9am. Meet your guide and receive a briefing on how to be Mahout and safety measures

9.30am. Visit the Mahout’s hut, change into mahout clothing.

10.30am. Go to buy food for elephant from local people near the elephant camp.

11.30 am. Prepare food for elephants and make herbal vitamin snack balls for the elephants and have fun feeding them.

12.30. Enjoy a delicious Buffet Lunch at the elephant camp

Afternoon:

14.00. Watch, learn, observe and maybe even join the mahouts as they interact, bathe and play with the elephants in their natural environment as you also learn about the animal’s behavior and history.

You will, of course have plenty of wonderful close-up photo opportunities with the elephants.

15.30 Depart from the elephant camp back to your hotel

Please Note

  • The exact activities with the elephants depend on what the elephants want to do that day
  • Large golf-sized umbrellas are provided to use for sun protection as well as the rain
  • If you book the morning session after 9:00 P.M. the day before, you cannot be guaranteed the pickup service and may need to go to the venue by yourself. However, return transport is available after you finish the activity
