The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a world-renowned place of worship, where the left Canine tooth of Gautama Buddha is enshrined. The temple which is venerated by thousands of local & foreign devotees and tourists daily was named as a world heritage by UNESCO in 1988.

After visiting the temple of tooth your guide will be taking you to Sri Lankan herbal garden after having delicious lunch.

It is one of the oldest tea estates in Lanka and is about 150 years old. Visiting the Damro Labookellie Tea Lounge gives you the opportunity to visit the tea factory and taste the tea for free. Also, it is the perfect place for any tired traveler to relax and get some fresh air, this is definitely a must visit place when you come to Nuwara Eliya.

You must arrive at 2.30 pm at Nanu Oya railway station in order to board the Nanu Oya-Ella train, which is the most picturesque across all of Sri Lanka. You experience one of the most picturesque train rides in the world when you pass beautiful mountains, steamy waterfalls, luscious forests, and villages with beaming locals. For this train trip, it is important to reserve early in order to book seats in a preferred class.

Hakgala Botanical Garden
Hakgala Botanical Garden is one of the five botanical gardens in Sri Lanka. The other four are Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Henarathgoda Botanical Garden, Mirijjawila Botanical Garden and Seetawaka Botanical Garden. It is the second largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka.

Lovers leap
Lovers leap is an impressive water fall which is known for its romantic folklore. To reach this place one has to go through the tea factory and reach the tea manager’s bungalow along a dirt road. Visitors can reach this destination by following the signs that are there and eventually one can reach a rock face and a Shiva shrine. Just beyond the shrine one can see the cascading water fall. Legend has it that lovers have leapt to their deaths from this water fall and hence the name Lovers Leap.

Set sail to the depths of the Indian Ocean on a smooth cruise, in search of the magnificent creatures that dwell beneath the surface of the azure waters. Mirissa is the ideal place for whale and dolphin watching between the months of November to April, as the waters become a playground for a myriad of whales and dolphin species. Some of the most commonly spotted whales include sperm whales, killer whales, Bryde whales, short finned whales, while you’ll be able to see schools of bottlenose dolphins and striped dolphins as they playfully frolic around your boat!
