Itinerary

Day 1

Pyramids and museum

  • We will pick you up from your hotel and take you to bus station. The journey to Cairo will take around 7 hours and arrive in the morning. Our tour guide will pick you up and then you will visit the pyramids in Giza, with the Great pyramids, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. They are one of the 7 wonders of the world. Afterwards we will stop at the Sphinx; an ancient symbol of the pharaos wisdom and strength embodied in a huge sculpture of a pharaoh’s head on a lion’s body. The tour continues with the Egyptian museum of Antiquities, which houses the world’s largest, most precious, and rare collection of genuine artifacts, over 250,000 pieces are displayed, dating back to 5000 years including an exhibit of the treasure collection of king Tutankhamen. After lunch in a local restaurant the day tour will end with visiting the Khan El Khalili in Old Cairo, which is the oldest market in Egypt. and stay in hotel for one night.
