We pick up from your hotel/accommodation in the old quarter area. If your hotel is out side of old quarter area, you can come to Hanoi Opera House (Nha Hat Lon) on your own, we will pick you up there. Or ask us for more detail.
We try to make the pick-ups as timely as possible but with morning traffic in the Old Quarter and many hotels to collect from this time is approximate.

1. TAM COC – HOA LU ANCIENT CAPITAL – LUXURY DAY TOUR
07.15– 07.45: Pick up from your hotel or private address and departure to Ninh Binh.
09.00: Have a short break for relaxing at a stop-over in Dong Van, Ha Nam province.
10.00 Visiting a local family in Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house architecture and their daily life.
10:30 Leaving the family, you will take a bike and start riding to explore the rice fields and limestone mountains with an unique route.
12:00 Come back the local family, enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture. After lunch, a break with a cup of tea will be served before you continue the journey of discovery Ninh Binh.
13.30: Visit Tam Coc by a small boat rowed by a local for about 1.5 hours. Known as “Halong Bay on land”, the boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of Limestone Mountains, rice paddy if traveling during harvest season.
15:30 Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the temple of King Dinh. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnamese history.
16.30: Leave Ninh Binh and drive straight back to Hanoi.
18:30 Arrive in Hanoi, drop you back to your hotel or private address in Hanoi. Trip ends.
3. LUXURY MUA CAVE - TAM COC - BICH DONG PAGODA
• 07.20 - 07.45 Pick up from your hotel or private address and depart to Ninh Binh.
• 09.00: Have a short break on the half way for rest room or relaxing.
• 10.00: Arrive Ninh Binh, start your visit Mua Cave and hiking to the top of Dragon Mountain to see panorama view of Ninh Binh.
. 10.40: Heading to the restaurant for lunch (set menu).
. 13.00: Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) - Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves amid dramatic natural sceneries of a maze of jungle-clad Lime-Stones mountains raised majestically out of flooded - rice paddy fields.
. 14.30: Then start to explore the rural villages, valley and limestone mountains by bicycle, where you can take pictures of amazing scenery and landscape.
• 15.10: Visiting Bich Dong Pagoda. Tour guide will give you an introduction of Vietnam history and Buddhism
• 15.45 -16.00: Getting on the car to return to Ha Noi.
• 18.00-18.30: Drop off at your hotel in Ha Noi. Tour ends.

10.00 Arrive Trang An and spend about 2 hours exploring Trang An – the core of natural heritage in a small boat, rowed by a local people. Visit many limestone water cave along Sao Khe River, King Kong film set and temple along the way.
12:30 Come to restaurant, refresh and enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture.
14:30 Take a bike and start riding around the village to explore the gorgeous rice fields surrounded by limestone mountains with a unique route and visiting a local family in the Tam Coc area. 16:00 Visit Bich Dong Pagoda under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnam history and understand the origin of Buddhism.
17:30 Leave Ninh Binh and drive straight back to Hanoi.
19:00 – 19:30 Arrive in Hanoi, drop you back to your hotel or private address in Hanoi Old Quarter. Trip ends.
Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries. It witnessed many important historical events in the early days: the union of Vietnam after the rebellion of 12 warlords, the war with China’s Southern Han Dynasty, and the formation of Hanoi.
