Itinerary

Day 1

Kutaisi

  • Early in the morning, at 8 o'clock we start the journey in Imereti region 160 km. We are in the Colchis lowlands, covered with many legends. Here the Argonauts, under the command of Jason, stole the golden fleece. This is the land of the eminent warriors of antiquity, where amazing events took place.

  • In Bagrati temple we will personally see all the beauty and unique charm of the impressive Georgian architecture of a thousand years ago.

  • The Colchis Basin

    The Colchis Basin. You will visit Kumistavi, where the colorful cave world of Colchis in all its glory will appear in front of you. On the 1,700-meter hiking trail you will see stalactites and stalagmites, underground waterfalls, rivers and lakes. And in the famous Prometheus Cave (Amirani) recall the legend of a chained mythological hero who infuriated the god ( Ticket price $ 5, boat ride $ 6 )

  • The 700-m-long stone-paved circular route starts from the Martvili Canyon Visitor Center and crosses the historic Dadiani Trail. There are 2 bridges, 3 platform views and a historic 30-step staircase built of large limestone boulders. Day 3

From Mestia to Zugdidi and Batumi

  • In the morning we will have a walk in the streets of Mestia until 12:00

  • Then we will travel to Zugdidi, where we will visit the Dadiani Palace Historical Museum and the Botanical Garden. ( Ticket price $ 3)

  • Departure from Zugdidi to Batumi, where we will have free time to taste traditional Megrelian cuisine.
