Itinerary
DUBROVNIK
Pick-up from the selected hotels in the Dubrovnik city area.
ORAŠAC
Scenic drive to the village of Orašac.
Orašac is a larger settlement located above the Adriatic motorway, 14 km away from Dubrovnik. It is famous for its votive church to the miraculous Virgin Mary of Orašac, built in the 15th century, and for the Arapovo Palace, called Soderini, built at the beginning of the 16th century.
You will visit a local household and enjoy in demonstration of olive oil production, followed by snacks and wine.
PELJEŠAC
After visiting the village of Orašac, our first stop is village Ponikve on the Pelješac peninsula. Here we will visit a small family-owned winery that produces high quality wine and seafood brought fresh from their beds in the nearby Mali Ston bay.
STON
The town of Ston, the “oyster capital” of Croatia. Especially interesting are the magnificent 5-km long walls surrounding the town – the longest defense walls after the Great Wall of China, and its ancient salt pans where the salt is still produced the same way as back in the time of the Dubrovnik Republic, as well as the time of the Romans, who built them.
