While enjoying a few hours of exciting walking through vineyards and farms with fruits and vegetables, you reach the City of Ancient Kamiros (5th century B.C.).
You have the opportunity to wander around the ruins of the so-called “Greece’s Pompeii“ and admire the sea view in front of you. Day 6 : Butterflies Valley Walk. Wine Tasting at a local winery/vineyard. Lunch at the vineyard's veranda
-
Hush, hush…thousands of Butterflies are resting here! The Valley of Butterflies is one of the most attractive destinations on the Island and an excellent place for those who wish to enjoy the beauties of nature. You will love the peaceful walk through the shaded, green valley with its small river and the beautiful waterfalls. You are permanently surrounded by butterflies camouflaging themselves against the tree trunks as you walk up towards the monastery at the top, or rest for a while on one of the wooden benches along the way (UNGUIDED).
The Valley of Butterflies is a unique nature reserve, which apart from its aesthetic value, it is also the site of the only natural forest of Liquidambar orientalis (Oriental Sweetgum trees) in Europe, and a resting point for the Jersey tiger (Panaxia Quadripunctaria), a nocturnal moth. The period with the most butterflies in the valley is from late May until mid-September. Now that you met one of the most renowned places in Rhodes, are you also aware that in ancient times Rhodians were considered the largest wine merchants in the Mediterranean. Today’s wines are excellent too.
After the Butterflies valley, you visit a nearby family-run vineyard and winery. Wine is not only to drink, is to smell, observe, taste, sip and To talk about it (Henry VII) and these are exactly what you are going to do. The winery owner guides you to the rich traditions and specialties of his vineyard as you walk through the vines until you sit on the large veranda having the vineyard spreading in front of you. Now it’s time to taste some real local mezedes (dishes) either at the vineyard’s veranda or at a local village tavern.
Day 7 : Sailing and bay hopping day trip. Lunch on board Sail along the beautiful coastline of Rhodes.

Sail along the most beautiful shores and the most wonderful bays of Rhodes Island stopping for fun dives, snorkeling, and swimming. Kallithea Bay, Anthony Quinn’ s Bay, Ladiko Bay, Traounou Bay each one has a unique beauty for you to explore!
