Itinerary

Day 1 Amman Queen Alia International Airport– Amman (D) 40 KM

1. Amman

Day 2 Amman Panoramic City Tour – Jerash – Ajloun - Amman (B, D) 140 KM

1. Amman Governorate

Breakfast and pick up from hotel in Amman. A panoramic tour of the city, known as Philadelphia: Pass by the downtown city center, with its Roman Theater, Citadel, traditional markets, churches, mosques like King Abdullah Mosque, the rainbow street, and the new modern city like the Abdali, and the Abdoun areas.

2. Jerash

Departure to Jerash, one of the most complete and best preserved of the Roman Empire. A walk-through time visiting its streets, theaters, temples, and other places like the Great Colonnade, the Arc of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, as well as the Temples of Zeus and Artemis.

3. Ajlun

Proceed to Ajloun to visit the Islamic fortress of Saladin in 1185 A.D. Back to Amman Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 3 Amman - Madaba – Mount Nebo – Karak- Petra (B, D) 320 KM

2. Madaba

Departure to Madaba the "City of Mosaics" where you will visit the church of Saint George which houses the map of the Holy Land made in 571 A.D.

3. Mount Nebo

Continue to Mount Nebo, known as the tomb of Moses, from whose summit a magnificent view of the Jordan Valley.

4. Karak

Then transfer to Karak to visit its Crusader Castle which is considered one of the largest castles in the Levant built in 1142 A.D.

5. Petra

Continue to Petra. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Petra - Wadi Rum (B, D) 160 KM

1. Petra

After breakfast, depart to Petra to visit the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A city carved in stone more than 2000 years ago to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. First, you will walk the “Siq”, a narrow path of 1.2 kilometers, which is the main entrance to the city. At the end of the “Siq”, you will see the treasury "El - Khazneh" - which was believed to hold countless treasures. The first view of the "Khazneh" is breath-taking. Other monuments you will visit are the Theatre, the Byzantine Church, and the Royal Tombs. Climb either the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice, if time permits. Free time to visit the Petra Museum; if there is time.

2. Wadi Rum

Free time for lunch on your own expense. Return to your vehicle and drive the impressive desert of Wadi Rum. Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum Camp.

Day 5 Wadi Rum - Dead Sea (B, D) 340 KM

1. Wadi Rum

After breakfast visit Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon where the movie Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian was filmed for a classic 2 hours visit of Wadi Rum in a 4x4 local jeeps. Wadi Rum is a uniquely shaped massive mountain that rose amongst the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish, and golden colors.

2. Dead Sea Region

Then transfer to the Dead Sea which sits 400 meters below sea level. The Dead Sea is one of the most incredible places in the world. It is known for the Biblical story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, which was turned into salt. The Dead Sea speaks for itself; there is no living fish! It is by far one of Jordan's most impressive and spectacular places to visit. Its calm shining water glowing from its scorching sun known for the concentration of salt and minerals, which makes it a therapeutic as well as a unique swimming experience not to be missed! Check in at your Dead Sea hotel; free time to enjoy the hotel facilities: Pool and beach for swimming, you may use the spa on your own personal expense.Dinner and overnight at Dead Sea Hotel.

Day 6 Dead Sea - Amman Queen Alia International Airport(B) 55 KM

Breakfast and transfer to Amman International Airport to coincide with the departure flight.
