Itinerary

Day 1

  • We will meet you in the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Tbilisi. Duration from Tbilisi airport to Tbilisi is 30 minutes. Duration from Kutaisi airport to Tbilisi is 4 hours (250 km/155 miles).

Day 2

  • You will visit all important sites and hidden gems of Tbilisi: the Chronicle of Georgia near Tbilisi Sea, Sameba Cathedral, Mtatsminda Park with a Funicular cable railway and Narikala Fortress at Old town of Tbilisi with a cable car to enjoy panoramic views of Tbilisi. You will also visit sulfur baths and waterfall, explore medieval churches and fortress, hear legend about how Tbilisi was founded, taste unique wines of Georgia and try Georgian bread in the traditional old bakery. Tour includes lunch to taste delicious Georgian dishes.

Day 3

  • You will visit all must-see attractions and hidden gems of the Georgian Military Road: Jinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, Panorama Gudauri, Jvari Travertine, Gergeti Trinity Church, Hike Gveleti Waterfall, Dariali Gorge, village Sno, Khevi's Sioni and have a lunch to taste the best meals from local traditional mountain cuisine.Total drive 345 km (215 miles).Private room with bathroom in a 3-star budget hotel Lions in the city center

Day 4

  • You will visit 11th century Georgian Orthodox cross-in-square cathedral of Samtavisi, museum and house of soviet leader Joseph Stalin, Ateni Sioni which is 7th century Georgian Orthodox "Jvari-type" cross-domed tetra conch church and Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-hewn town and one of the oldest urban settlements (3rd millennium BC). Tour includes lunch to taste the best meals from local traditional cuisine. Total drive 215 km (135 miles).

Day 5

  • You will visit David Gareja Lavra monastery founded in the 6th century by St. David Garejeli who was one of the thirteen Assyrian monks, Bodbe monastery complex of St. Nino originally built in the 9th century and Signagi – “City of Love” to enjoy breathtaking views of Alazani Valley. Total drive 325 km (205 miles).

Day 6

  • Tour to visit Qvevri Master-Zaza Kbilashvili, Kindzmarauli Corporation, Khareba Wine Tunnel in Kvareli, KTW Wine House in Patardzeuli and taste Kakhetian cuisine and homemade wine in local family.

Day 7

  • We will meet you in your hotel and transfer you to airport. Duration from Tbilisi to Tbilisi airport is 30 minutes. Duration from Tbilisi to Kutaisi airport is 4 hours (250 km/ 155 miles).
