Why we love it?
This tour takes you to the Sanctuary of Truth Museum in Pattaya City, Thailand, a remarkable wooden structure located on Rachvate Cape overlooking the sea in North Pattaya. The Sanctuary of Truth, also known as Prasat Satchatham or Prasat Sut Ja-Tum, is an intricate building more than 100 meters high, featuring hand-carved figures inspired by Buddhist and Hindu beliefs. Although still under construction after more than 20 years, the site showcases detailed wood carvings representing Thai, Cambodian, Indian, and Chinese legends. Created by Thai millionaire Khun Lek Viriyaphant, who also developed the Erawan Museum and Ancient City Muang Boran, this site offers insight into Thai culture and craftsmanship. Visitors can spend about an hour exploring the museum and appreciating the ongoing work of skilled woodcarvers, though admission to the Sanctuary of Truth Museum itself is not included.
