Itinerary

Stop 1

Our departure is scheduled for 9am. In this tour we will have the opportunity to walk for 3 hours the main postcards of Aracaju.

Stop 2

Our first stop will be Atalia village. Atalia is an old fishing colony in the south of Aracaju, from the 50s it began to urbanize becoming the main tourist point of Aracaju. In this town, we found the beaches Los Artistas, Havaizinho and Atalaia. This last one is a famous tourist point where we can see Orla de Atalia where we will have a panoramic view of the beach

Stop 3

The next stop is Treze de Julho beach lookout point. We will have the opportunity to have a view of the bay, the combination of colors and the sea will be the protagonists of this stop. A photographic point since we can capture beautiful memories of the beach

Stop 4

We stop at the oldest point of the city, at the top of the hill we will visit the Santo Antonio Church this temple built in the 19th century has a Gothic style, and it is by its name that the surrounding neighborhood has the same name. In its surroundings is the Rua São João, the historical point of the capital's June festivities. This viewpoint has a panoramic view of the center and even on sunny days, we can see the Island of Santa Luzia

Stop 5

Once visited the church of Santo Antonio, we can not miss the cathedral metropolitan, temple of the Catholic Church dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Conceição, founded in 1875 and declared a cathedral 35 years later. Its architecture is related to the attractive elements of neoclassicism and the typical neogothic arches

Stop 6

Leaving history behind, we arrive at the contemporary. Without moving too far from history we will arrive at an old market that was restored creating a complex where we will have a mixture of culture, history and typical products. In Tales Ferraz we will be very close to the typical gastronomy such as tapioca flour, cheese, rapaduras (hardened brown sugar) and various types of cashew nuts

Stop 7

Following the same line we will visit the Albano Franco market, the difference is that here we will have an approach to the regional fruits and access to the purchase of artisan products of Aracaju. All this can be enjoyed accompanied by a sanfona, played by local artists.

Stop 8

Surrounded by friendly people, we said goodbye to these popular markets with the last one, Antonio Franco. We will have more about the artisan and gastronomic culture of Aracaju. This will be the last opportunity to buy gifts for our loved ones, after our visit we will return to the hotels with the knowledge we have acquired
