7 Days Emotion Route – From São Luis to Fortaleza

São Luis - Barreirinhas

departure to Barreirinhas, the travel takes 4h in good road where we will see plantations of Babaçu and Buriti. Barreirinhas is located on the waterfront of Preguiças River, being still a very peaceful and hospitable town. The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, located close to town is a rare gem with magnificent dunes sculpted by nature and at the period of March to September contains hundreds of lakes formed by rainwater falling at season. At 14h after check in at the hotel, will begin the tour in a 4x4 vehicle to get to the heart of the Park, where we walk in the Blue pond circuit with bath on pond and contemplation of the beautiful sunset in the dunes. Return to Barreirinhas around 19h00 and you can continue enjoying a bath in the hotel pool or go out at night in the quiet streets of the city or simply enjoy on the riverside the calm waters and savoring a beautiful pizza at restaurants in the town. Barreirinhas - Atins

departure in speedboat ride on the majestic Preguiças river, with its calm waters where we will have a sight of the bayous on their margin, mangrove, buritis, Juçara's trees (açai), tucunzeiros, as well as herons and kingfishers. We will make stops on communities of VASSOURAS, also known as small "Lençóis" and place where we can enjoy a delicious coconut water, interact with monkeys nails that dwell there, Mandacaru, small fishing village where we will ascend 160 steps in the Mandacaru's lighthouse to contemplate scenic view of the dunes, river and its estuary, ocean and vegetation typical. Next stop: Caburé, this being an arm of dunes located between the river and the Sea. After lunch, departure to Atins Village. Arrival and accommodation. Overnight in Atins.

departure in 4x4 vehicle to “Canto do Atins”, where we walk through the beautiful dunes of the park and we can refresh ourselves in the waters of the ponds that form only during the rainy season. After walking in the dunes, we will stop in Luzia or Antonio Restaurants for lunch (not include) and taste the famous grilled shrimp. Return to Hotel. Overnight in Atins.

Atins - Parnaiba

departure on speedboat to reach Caburé Village, here we will leave in 4x4 vehicle to Tutóia City, the road will pass through 15 km of deserted beaches then another 5 km of beautiful dunes and over 10km of off-road trails until we reach the small town of Paulino Neves where we will continue for another 30km of paved road to our destination. Arrival and departure by speedboat to cross the Delta. We will go through several mazes formed by streams where we will have the opportunity to observe a demonstration of Crab catch and also visit some fish corrals used by local people, pass in front of the São Bernardo Island where we will sight a small church in the middle of nowhere and Morro do Meio, for dive into the Parnaiba's water. The lunch (not included) will be held in one of the islands of the Delta, in agreement with the guide / driver. Arrival at Tatus Porto in Parnaíba. Transfer to Pousada. Overnight in Parnaíba.

Parnaiba - Jericoacoara

departure in 4x4 vehicle to Jericoacoara, with panoramic tour by Camocim, Ilha do Amor, beaches of Tatajuba, Guriú and Mangue Seco. On the way, we will pass by dunes, ferry crossings and a wonderful view of several deserted beaches (Lunch on route not included). Arrival and accommodation at Pousada Vila Bela Vista. Overnight at Jericoacoara.

Jericoacoara

Departure in a buggy vehicle to the Sloth Tree (Árvore da Preguiça) where we make our first stop for photos. Within the Jericoacoara National Park can visit the seasonal ponds that form between huge dunes during the rainy season. Visit the Blue Lagoon to stop for swimming and then we will follow up to the Paradise Lagoon for lunch and bathing in crystal clear waters. Return to Pousada. Overnight in Jericoacoara.
