Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet and greet with your representative and transfer to your hotel in Negombo. After some time to refresh, proceed to Colombo for a city sightseeing tour. Explore the contrast between Colombo’s historic and modern sides, including the former and present Parliament areas, residential districts, the busy Fort area, and the vibrant Pettah trade bazaars. Continue to Galle Face Green and visit a Hindu kovil, offering an insight into the city’s multicultural heritage.

After breakfast, leave Negombo and continue towards Kandy. En route, visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, one of the largest and most renowned botanical gardens in Asia, featuring extensive collections of tropical plants, flowering species, palms, and beautifully landscaped areas.

Continue to Kandy and explore the city centre, with time for lunch and some local shopping. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Sri Lanka’s most important religious and cultural landmarks. The temple attracts thousands of devotees and visitors and is closely connected with the history and traditions of Kandy.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance, featuring colourful costumes, music, and traditional dancing.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Tissamaharama is a pleasant town surrounded by lakes, paddy fields, and rural landscapes, making it a convenient base for exploring the nearby Yala region.

Rise early for an exciting Yala National Park safari, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife experiences. During the safari, explore the park’s diverse landscapes of forests, grasslands, lagoons, and scrubland while looking for Sri Lanka’s wildlife. You may encounter elephants, spotted deer, wild boar, buffalo, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. With some luck, you may also have the opportunity to spot a leopard or sloth bear.

After the safari, return to the hotel for breakfast and prepare for the journey towards Tangalle. Continue along the southern coast, with a stop in Hambantota to see the harbour area and enjoy lunch.

Continue to Tangalle and, if time permits, stop at a suitable natural bathing point along the way for a refreshing break. Arrive in Tangalle and check in to the hotel.
