Day 1
Airport to Anuradhapura

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your chauffeur guide and begin your journey to Anuradhapura, the first great capital of ancient Sri Lanka. Once one of the most influential cities in South Asia, Anuradhapura is renowned for its sacred monuments, impressive stupas, ancient monasteries, and remarkable irrigation systems that demonstrate the engineering brilliance of early Sri Lankan civilization.
After lunch, explore some of the city's most important religious and historical landmarks before checking into your hotel.

Built during the reign of King Kashyapa in the 5th century, this ancient royal citadel rises dramatically above the surrounding plains. As you ascend the rock, discover beautiful frescoes, landscaped water gardens, and the remains of a magnificent palace while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views.
After some relaxation at the hotel, head to Minneriya National Park for an exciting wildlife safari. The park is famous for its large elephant population and seasonal elephant gatherings, offering excellent opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.

Later, enjoy a vibrant Kandyan Cultural Dance Performance showcasing traditional music, drumming, and fire performances.
