Step 1
Brussels is a 90 minutes drive from Zeebrugge.
In the morning we discover the city by car with the Atomium, the gothic cathedral, the 19th century Palace of Justice with its panoramic view over the entire city, the Jubilee Park with king Leopold II's museum island and universal exhibition halls.
Restaurant recommendations can be given for your lunch break : you can go for "haute cuisine" or for simple but delicious mussels with fries.The Grand-Place is considered as one of the most beautiful places of the world.
Step 2
In the afternoon we discover the city on foot : from the fish market over the Halles Saint-Géry to the most beautiful market square of Europe, the "Grand Place".
We close of with a Brussels speciality : Geueze beer, which is beer of spontaneous fermentation, only brewn in the Brussels region, but 60% of what is brewn is exported to USA, Canada, Japan, etc.
Your driver / guide will stick to still water though, and will bring you safely back to your cruise port.
