Why we love it?

This six-hour walking tour of Bangkok begins at River City Shopping Mall and explores the historic neighborhoods of Talad Noi and Chinatown, known as the city’s oldest districts since Chinese merchants settled here in the 1780s. Along the way, you’ll pass by the Assumption Cathedral, a Gothic Revival Catholic church dating back to 1767, and admire graffiti art decorating the old alley walls. The route includes visits to several temples and shrines such as Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan, Wat Suthat Thepwararam Ratchaworamahawihan, and the San Chao Pho Sua Tiger Shrine, with tuk tuk transfers between Chinatown and the shrine. A long-tailed speedboat ride on a klong offers a unique view of Bangkok’s canals. The tour features stops to sample Thai delicacies at hidden local spots, plus a small lunch choice of Dim Sum at Lhong Tou Café or a noodle or rice dish at Sae Poon Shop near Khao San Road. Admission is included for the speedboat ride and entrance fees, while entry to the Assumption Cathedral, temples, and shrines is not included.
