Itinerary

Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s busy capital, sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers. It was a hub for both the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. On its walkable riverfront, lined with parks, restaurants and bars, are the ornate Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and more, displaying artifacts from around the country. At the city’s heart is the massive, art deco Central Market.

Royal Palace

It gives you a glimpse of Cambodian culture and heritage. The palaces are beautifully carved and in some places you will have to remove your shoes to go inside.

Silver Pagoda

The silver pagoda is named after its floor, which comprises of 5,000 silver tiles. Inside, it houses a gold Buddha encrusted with 9,584 diamonds. A Buddhist temple within the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, the Silver Pagoda is an impressive sight. The details are remarkable and signage is limited

Wat Phnom

The Wat Phnom Temple is the most significant of all the temples in Phnom Penh. The temple has a close-knitted relationship with the capital city. Set on top of a 27m-high tree-covered knoll, Wat Phnom is on the only 'hill' in town.

Independence Monument

The Independence Monument in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, was built in 1958 following the country's independence from France. The outstanding Independence Monument is one of the most striking landmarks of Phnom Penh.

Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk

The Norodom Sihanouk Memorial, also called the Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk, is a monument commemorating former King Norodom Sihanouk located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The bronze statue is 4.5 meters tall and is housed under a 27 meter high stupa in the park east of the Independence Monument.

Kampong Luong Pagoda

Kampong Luong Pagoda is a Place Of Worship and secretary of the museum, who was in charge of the mission, had great difficulty convincing the chief of the pagoda

Mekong Island

New road koh chen

Koh Chen Island is a popular for its wide reach and bronze souvenirs. The closer you get to the island's only village, the louder the sound produced by men hammering heated bronze.

Uodong temple

Oudong perched on top of the mountain consists of a cluster of stupas and temples. The three main stupas are Damrei Sam Poan, Ang Duong, and Mukh Proum. The Oudong stupas are also known as Chedis in Khmer. They constitute a large cemetery of the past kings of Cambodia.

Sontte Wan Buddhist Meditation Center

Sontte Wan Buddhist Meditation Centre of Kingdom of Cambodia is the largest Buddhism center of Cambodia with beautiful decoration of the Buddha story and there a lot of pilgrims learn about religion there.
