Itinerary
Step 1
At 7:00, you will be picked up at the hotel to leave for Cu Chi Tunnel for one and half hours. Cu Chi could be the starting point for those who want to know what the Vietnam’s anti - American war was like. It is beyond human imagination for its tunnels system of over 220 km.
As you crawl through the tiny hallway and get a taste of yucca with salted sesame seeds, you will figure out why Vietnam won such a battle. You will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, when Cu Chi was "A Free Target Zone ". The remnants you will see that Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there. The shooting range with AK47 shall be available at your own expense if you want some ‘shooting time’.
After the tunnels
we will head out for lunch on the two-hour bus trip to My Tho, Mekong delta. Lunch at the rest stop shall one of your favorite experiences in Vietnam. There’s something lovely about not ordering for yourself and just being given food and trying it out!
Upon arrival to My Tho City, The boat take you to small canal, where is the place you totally escape from the busy town. The boat cruise in the coconut trees canal takes you to a coconut islet in Ben Tre. We disembark and have a walk around the village.
Here they can rest under a canopy of coconut leaves, sip tea with fresh honey, while listening to the beautiful melodies of traditional music performed by the villagers.
Continue walking on the village’s road to coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, show some handicraft made by coconut tree. Take a walk through village so many kinds of fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, etc. in Mekong Delta, bring back home some nice photos and enjoying nature scenery.
17:00 Head back to Ho Chi Minh City and Tour ends at 19:30
