Sunrise and Sunset at Mui Ne

This little village is absolutely magical at sunrise and sunset. Dozens of brightly colored boats adorn turquoise waters. Everything is bathed in a luminescent light – highly recommended! You can either choose to have Sunrise or Sunset in our Tour.

Day 1: Saigon – Mui Ne by local tourist sleeping bus (Lunch)

Picked up at 7 AM. It takes about 4 hours drive to Mui Ne. Our guide shall pick you up at the bus stop to a Resort for check-in and have lunch at Resort.

Tour option 1: take the sunset tour on day 1 after having lunch.

Tour option 2: take the sunrise tour early morning at 4:30 on day 2

Day 2: Mui Ne – Saigon by local tourist sleeping bus (breakfast, lunch)

Hotel checks out at 12:00 and picked up for the local tourist sleeping bus back Saigon at 13:30 at reception.

18:30 arriving Saigon. Tour ends at the bus stop.

Another great place to catch a gorgeous sunset is the Red Sand Dunes of Mui Ne. You shall not be able to get over the wonders of nature in Mui Ne and Phan Thiet – sand dunes that make you feel like you are in a desert right next to the beach?!

Another Surreal Sand Dune you have to visit is the White Sand Dunes. This place is exactly how a desert has been imagined to be – a vast expanse of barren land. It is an hour drive from the center of Mui Ne, and we must say that it is most definitely worth the commute. Few activities could be enjoyed at your own expense are Quad Bike and sliding sand. The quad bike is not included in the tour price. We recommend that you should use this kind of fun game to have more time discovering the area and more chance to capture the scene from the lens. Game price varies and should be negotiated with the provider. At the same time, using this type of game shall, in some extends, help you to move quicker on a large hill where it might take some time to walk.

You are 100% wrong to be apprehensive about this being a tourist trap!! This aptly named stream is another wonder of nature. Tucked between beaches and fishing villages, this gurgling stream is surrounded by amazing limestone formations. You can explore this muddy stream. Make your way through colorful limestone formations, warm water, and bright green trees to reach a waterfall!

Mui Ne’s chaotic early morning market provides a fascinating peek into the lives of local Vietnamese fishermen. Every morning they get their catch to the shore. Their wives and family members sort out the catch and sell it to the local traders, restaurant owners, and street food vendors on the spot. It’s like a trading floor right out of a Wall Street institution.
