Trip to see the floating village at Kompong Plhouk to experience the daily lives of local people and be amazed by high stilts houses about 6-9meters from the ground to protect for the up-level of water from the great lake (Tonle Sap) during the wet season. (September-February)

There are 4 different floating villages in Siem Reap to go to, Chong Kneas What it is known(one of the other floating villages and (WE ARE NOT GOING TO THIS PLACE) is becoming a more commercial floating village where there is a mixture of Vietnamese and Cambodians live their lives on that great lake of Tonle Sap (the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia), the other Floating Village is May Chrey, Kompong Kleang, and Kompong Plhuk village.

Kompong Plock is beautiful and really is the most exciting floating village where you can go for a day tour or even half Day tour to experience the daily lives of the Villagers.
