Day 1 Athens Full Day Private Tour

  • Acropolis

    Sightseeing in Athens starts with the hill of Acropolis which will make your day. On the historical hill, you will have the opportunity to see the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of the Athena Nike, the monumental gateway (Propylaea), the Erechtheum and of course the famous Parthenon, the main temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena. 

  • Parthenon

    Parthenon, the main temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena, the most famous building in the world, symbol of the Athenian Democracy and the Western Civilization. 

  • Erechtheion

    Temple of Poseidon & Athena, the most sacred place in ancient Athens with the incredible female featured columns, Karyatides. 

  • Temple of Athena Nike

    Temple dedicated to the goddess Athena Nike or Wingless Victory. 

  • Temple of Olympian Zeus

    After the Acropolis, we will head towards the Temple Of Zeus, the biggest in antiquity, devoted to the King of the Gods, by way of Hadrian's Arch.  

  • Panathenaic Stadium

    We will visit Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896.  

  • Lycabettus Hill

    Then moving into the historical center of the city we will drive up the highest hill of Athens, Lycabettus Hill, where you’ll have the best panoramic view of the city, from the hill of Acropolis to the Aegean Sea.  

  • Ancient Agora

    Ancient Greek Agora which is considered the birthplace of democracy, philosophy and free speech. 

  • Temple of Hephaestus

    In the ancient Greek Agora, you will visit the Temple of Hephaestus (the best-preserved temple in Greece standing largely as built) devoted to the God of blacksmiths and volcanoes. 

  • Museum of Ancient Agora

    Ancient Greek Agora which is considered the birthplace of democracy, philosophy and free speech, in its small museum you will see findings from their daily life and learn about their constitution. 

  • Hellenic Parliament

    The Hellenic Parliament, in Greek known as Voulí ton Ellínon is the parliament of Greece, located in the Old Royal Palace, overlooking Syntagma Square in Athens. The Parliament is the supreme democratic institution that represents the citizens through an elected body of Members of Parliament.  

  • Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

    We will see the changing of the guard (Euzones) in front of the old palace, which is today Parliament House, above the central square of Athens.  

  • Syntagma Square

    Syntagma Square is the central square of Athens. The square is named after the Constitution that Otto, the first King of Greece, was obliged to grant after a popular and military uprising on 3rd of September 1843.  

  • The Academy of Athens

    The Academy Building constitutes one of three parts in an “architectural trilogy”. It was founded with the Constitutional Decree of March 18th, 1926, as an Academy of Sciences, Humanities and Fine Arts.  

  • The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens

    The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is the largest state institution of higher learning in Greece, and among the largest universities in Europe. The splendid Athens University was designed by the Danish architect Christian Hansen and completed in 1864.  

  • The National Library of Greece

    The National Library of Greece was built at the end of the nineteenth century, as the last of the Architectural of Athens, a group of three neoclassical buildings which also includes the Academy and the University. The building was designed by Theophil Hansen.  

  • Plaka

    You will be feeling hungry by now so next stop is going to be a traditional Greek tavern with authentic Greek dishes in the traditional neighborhood with the narrow streets. The neighborhood of the Gods.  

  • Acropolis Museum

    As you enter the museum grounds, look through the plexiglass floor to see the ruins of an ancient Athenian neighborhood, which were artfully incorporated into the museum design after being uncovered during excavations.This dazzling modernist museum at the foot of the Acropolis’ southern slope showcases its surviving treasures still in Greek possession. While the collection covers the Archaic and Roman periods, the emphasis is on the Acropolis of the 5th century BCE, considered the apotheosis of Greece’s artistic achievement. Built in 2009, this museum was voted as the best mono-thematic museum for 2019.

    Livadeia is a town in central Greece. It is the capital of the Boeotia regional district, it lies 90 km north-west of Athens. 

  • Mount Parnassus

    We will be on the slopes of Mount Parnassus before reaching Delphi.  

  • Hosios Loukas

    Our first stop is going to be the monastery of Hosios Loukas, which represents the second golden age of Byzantine art (11th -12th century) in particular its golden mosaic decoration and fine architecture. 

  • Delphi

    Delphi is a town on Mount Parnassus in the south of mainland Greece. It's the site of the 4th-century-B.C. Temple of Apollo, once home to a legendary oracle. 

  • Delphi Archaeological Museum

    In the museum you will be able to see the famous charioteer and Gold Ivory statue. 

  • Temple of Apollo

    Called the centre of the world, Delphi was the most famous ancient Greek sanctuary with a Pan Hellenic character dedicated to the God Apollo. 

  • Arachova

    A stop at the village of Arachova, Mykonos of the Winter, as the Athenians call it, for come picturesque photos. 

  • Athens

    And after that we will drive back to Athens. 

Day 3 1 Day Cruise - Island Hopping

    You’ll depart Athens under the morning sun and enjoy a delicious, optional breakfast, if you choose, from our menu. As you cruise the legendary waters of the historic Saronic Gulf, our first island destination, is Hydra.

    On arrival you’ll marvel at the amazing architecture of the harbour town and have plenty of time to discover the many charms of the island on one of our tours. A leisurely stroll through the narrow streets is a must.

  • Poros

    Depart Hydra and cruise to Poros, a quiet and beautifully green island, noted for its pleasant beaches and the fragrant aroma of lemon carrie d by a gentle wind from its many groves. The boat will be at Poros for about 40 minutes leaving you enough time to admire the graphic setting of the island's Chora.

  • Aegina

    Cruise to Aegina and discover the island’s brilliant cultural heritage, including an optional short boat ride to swim. You'll have about 2 hours to discover the island's beauties either on your own or through one of our guided tours. 

  • Temple of Afaia

     A visit to the Temple of Afaia is an unforgettable excursion. The temple is the focal point of the area of the sanctuary, founded in ancient Aegina to commemorate the Minoan deity Afaia, daughter of Zeus and Carme. The temple is in the Dorian style and is considered by many to be the model the Parthenon is Athens.

  • Athens

    Return to Athens in the early evening and enjoy an amazing view of the Attica sky at sunset from our Sun Deck and Live Greek Folk Dance Show that will accompany you for about 1.5 hour to 2 hours until you reach Attica's port.

Apart from the unique location and the archaeological interest, Cape Sounio is also known for its breathtaking sunset and view of the Greek Islands. It is considered as one of the most romantic places in Greece. The place Lord Byron wrote about and treasured. Enjoy one of the most amazing sunsets... When the sun dives into the sea, the marble columns change colour and travel you to a dreamy world…

    We will drive back to Athens. 

Day 5 Wine Roads Private Day Tour: Corinth - Ancient Nemea & Wine Tasting
  • Experience Greece’s nature where history meets the myth and wine owes its creation! Cross the Corinth Canal that was a task from the antiquity, visit ancient Corinth one of the wealthiest ancient Greek cities, admire the temple of Zeus at Nemea (the only one which you can step on), run the track of one of the most famous stadiums of ancient Greece and taste the divine nemean wine surrounded by vineyards.  

  • Corinth Canal

    The tour starts with a drive along the coast, on the way you will view some Greek seaside villages and the island of Salamis (where the historical naval battle took place between the Athenians and the Persians). Our first stop the Corinth Canal. Opened in 1892 and separating the Peloponnese peninsula from the rest of Greece and connecting the Saronic Gulf to the Corinthian Sea. You will have time to walk across on a pedestrian bridge to admire the canal closer. 

  • Ancient Corinth

    Moving on we will continue to Ancient Corinth. The city dominated by the hill of Acrocorinth. The site located at the foot of the hill includes the Roman Agora of Corinth, the temple of god Apollo and a small museum. Apart from its archaeological and historical interest Ancient Corinth is also one of the most popular religious destinations in Greece as this was where the Apostle Paul preached Christianity, was judged by the tribunal in the Agora and established the best organized Christian church of that period. 

  • Acrocorinth

    We will visit the castle of Acrocorinth, the oldest and largest castle in southern Greece, for some amazing photos. 

  • Ancient Nemea

    Continuing our next stop will be the site of Ancient Nemea.

    Nemea is mainly known for the Nemean Games, its ancient Greek stadium and the Temple Of Zeus but it is also famous for its vineyards. Nemea has the most wineries in Greece as grape growing has been a tradition here since ancient times. Back at the site apart from the museum and the sanctuary, the stadium makes the difference. Nemea has one of the best preserved stadiums found so far and it is located on a higher level. Of special intrest are the tunnels through which the athletes entered the stadium. 

  • Archaeological Site of Nemea

    Archaeological site and Museum of Nemea shows you interesting things about the Nemean Pan Hellenic Games. 

  • Winery

    After the visit to the site, we will head towards one of the Nemean wineries. Driving through the grape yards of the largest wine production zone in Greece, we will visit one of the best wineries. People will gladly give you a small tour showing you the grape yards, the storage barrels, explaining you the procedure that takes place until the bottling. In the end, you will be offered to taste some of their best varieties while having a view of the Nemean Valley. 

  • Nafplio

    Lastly, we will drive towards the city of Nafplio considered the most scenic city, it functioned as the capital of Greece until 1834. 

  • Acronafplia Castle

    After walking in the idyllic old city we will stop for lunch at a traditional tavern by the sea, and drive up to the castle of Acronafplia for a panoramic view of Nafplio. 

  • Bourtzi

    Nafplio offers you an outstanding combination of fortresses and castles. Bourtzi is a little islet with a fortress in a huge port opened to the Aegean Sea. 

  • Athens

    We will drive back to Athens.
