The Red Tower, known in Turkish as Kızıl Kule, is a prominent historic structure located in Alanya. Widely recognized as one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, it holds an important place in Alanya’s identity and even appears on the city’s official flag.
The shipyard’s design features five vaulted sections divided by pointed-arch walls. The exterior walls are built from cut stone, while the arches and vaults are constructed with brick. Small ventilation openings in the vaults allow natural light to enter the shipyard and help smoke escape.
