Itinerary

Meet your guide at one of our two Riga Old Town pickup points

Meet your guide at one of our two Riga Old Town pickup points: outside Grand Hotel Kempinski, near the Latvian National Opera, or outside Triangular Bastions at the other end of the Old Town. Your exact pickup point is confirmed after booking.

Ķemeri Boardwalk

Spend around 2 hours at the Ķemeri boardwalk. Walk the route with your guide and take in the bog landscape before continuing south.

Bauska Castle

Visit Bauska Castle, a medieval fortress near the meeting point of the Mūsa and Mēmele rivers. Spend around 90 minutes at the castle.

Lunch at Aveni

Stop for lunch at Aveni for about 1 hour. Lunch is paid directly to the restaurant.

Rundāle Palace

Spend around 2 hours at Rundāle Palace. Visit the palace with your guide and hear how this baroque residence fits into Latvia’s 18th-century history

Optional microbrewery stop

If time permits, stop at a local microbrewery for a quick pint before the drive back to Riga. Drinks are paid for separately.

Return to Riga

Drive back to Riga after the final stop. Drop-off is at the agreed Riga point or confirmed hotel location.

The Ķemeri boardwalk is flat wooden boards and works for most mobility aids in dry weather. Bauska Castle involves stairs and uneven terrain, the hardest stop on the day for reduced mobility.
