LUANG PRABANG – ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to check in the hotel. After relaxing, visit Royal Palace Museum. Continue to Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief. If time permits, we take a short walk around the small streets of the city. Late afternoon, we climb up to the top of Mount Phousi, visit to the famous Night Market. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
LUANG PRABANG – ELEPHANT CAMP – PAK OU CAVES (B) Wake up early to join the most sacred tradition of Laos: the daily morning alms giving. Visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace. After breakfast, we drive directly to Ban Xang Hai to visit an elephant camp. Continue driving to Ban Pak Ou, take the boat crossing the Mekong river to visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. We then take the boat downstream the Mekong river back to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, visit the old Wat Sene, and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
LUANG PRABANG – KUANG SI WATERFALL – VIENTIANE (B) After breakfast at the hotel, transfer directly to Kuang Si. There is also the chance to walk to the nearby village of Ban Thapene. On the way back to Luang Prabang, we will take a short visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center. We then transfer to the airport to take the flight to Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane.
VIENTIANE – BUDDHA PARK (B) In the morning, we visit Wat Si Muang. After that drive to Buddha Park, then visit Lao Disable Women Development Center. Start the afternoon with a visit to That Luang, the holiest site in Laos. Then, enjoy a panoramic view over the city as you climb the stairs to the top of Patuxai, Vientiane’s own “Arc de Triomphe ''. Continue down Lane Xang Avenue the serene Wat Sisaket. Continue on to the nearby Wat Phra Keo. Overnight in Vientiane.
