Itinerary
Step 1
Your exciting day begins with a comfortable hotel pick-up by our friendly driver. The first stop will be the Maasai World Village in Fukuchani, where you will meet the Maasai people and learn about their daily life, culture, and traditions. You will see their unique houses made from mud, join them in their famous jumping dance, and enjoy traditional songs. You can also try archery, fire lighting, and wear traditional Maasai clothing for photos. Before leaving, you’ll have time to see beautiful handmade Maasai jewelry made by local women.
Step 2
Next, your driver will take you to the Jozani Forest, the only national park in Zanzibar. Walk through the tropical forest with your guide to see the rare red colobus monkeys, butterflies, and different types of trees and plants. You will also visit the mangrove boardwalk, where you can learn about the importance of mangroves to Zanzibar’s environment and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.
Step 3
The last stop is at Salaam Cave Aquarium in Kizimkazi, a beautiful natural lagoon surrounded by rocks and clear blue water. Here, you will have the amazing chance to swim and feed sea turtles in their natural habitat. Relax, take photos, and enjoy this peaceful moment before heading back.
After a day full of culture, wildlife, and nature, your driver will take you back to your hotel with great memories of your Zanzibar experience.
