Day 1 Day 1

Pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park and Maasai cultural village tour

Early in the morning at 5:00am, we will pick you up from any hotel in Zanzibar or the airport to the ferry terminal direct to Dar es Salaam towards Mikumi National Park either by Toyota minivan or electric train from Dar es Salaam. You will have lunch on the way to Mikumi or when you arrive at the park.

At the park, you will have a rest a bit at the hotel for a few moments, and then you will be picked up by our professional driver guide in a 4x4 open-sided safari vehicle and go visit Masai Boma/Village to do the Maasai Cultural Tour.

Here you will learn about a real and daily life of Maasai people, their traditions and culture, and gathering along with them to show you some of their traditions, like making a fire by using sticks, singing and dancing their local dances, and jumping high by using traditional shoes and sticks.

After finishing it, the driver will drive you back to the hotel to enjoy your well-prepared dinner, soft drinks, and an overnight stay at Chambo Villas.

Day 2 A full day

Having breakfast at 6:00am, our professional safari driver guide will pick you up at 6:30am directly to Mikumi Main Gate to start your full-day game drive (from morning to late afternoon).

Our professional driver guide will show you all the visited areas in the park, beautiful landscapes, and as many animals as possible, including lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, hippos, crocodiles, common elands, warthogs (Pumba), and many others. You will have a buffet lunch inside the bush/park.

After finishing it, the driver will drive you back to the hotel to enjoy your well-prepared dinner, soft drinks, and an overnight stay at Chambo Villas.

After breakfast at 6:30 am, you will be transferred from your hotel to Morogoro Msamvu Train Station, heading to Dar es Salaam. You will arrive around 11:45 am. We will take you to the ferry and depart for Zanzibar at 12:30 pm.

Upon arrival, our driver will drop you off at your hotel in Zanzibar.
