Day 1
Nairobi – Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru

Pick up 6:30 AM and drive to lake Naivasha, a peaceful freshwater lake fringed by papyrus and fever-tree forests. Naivasha offers superb close-up birding and light walking safaris among free-roaming wildlife. For your first two activities;
Boat Ride: Excellent for waterbirds, hippos, and fish eagles.
Crescent Island Nature Walk: Close-range viewing of plains game and ground birds.

• African Fish Eagle (fish-hunting displays)
• Goliath Heron
• Pied, Giant & Malachite Kingfishers
• African Jacana
• Red-knobbed Coot
• Great & Long-tailed Cormorants

One of Kenya’s most diverse parks. The lake attracts flamingos while the woodlands and grasslands support large mammals and birds of prey. Here you will enjoy a late afternoon to evening Birding & wildlife game drive through lakeshore, forest, and open savannah habitats

Lake Nakuru – Lake Baringo – Lake Bogoria – Nairobi

Depart Nakuru at 6
Depart Nakuru at 6:00AM and Drive to Lake Baringo, an ornithologist’s paradise with over 450 bird species, plus impressive reptile life and unique arid-land species. Here you will enjoy a boat ride in search of crocodiles, hippos, and birdlife.

• Hemprich’s & Jackson’s Hornbills
• Goliath Heron
• Pygmy Falcon
• Bristle-crowned Starling
• White-browed Sparrow-Weaver
• Verreaux’s Eagle (near cliffs)

• Occasional sightings of gazelles and camels in surrounding dry lands -
Drive from Baringo to Bogoria, the drive takes roughly one & a half hours. Bogoria is adramatic semi-desert landscape famous for its hot springs and massive gatherings of Lesser Flamingos, sometimes numbering in the millions. Here, you will enjoy a Birding game drive and a short walk around the hot springs area (with caution)
