Itinerary
: Sleeping luxuryTrain Hanoi – Sapa
Hanoi – Lao Cai 20:30 pickup from your hotel, then transfer to Hanoi Railway Station and take the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train. The train is an air-conditioned soft-sleeper with four berths per cabin.
Arrive in Lao Cai at approximately 05:00 to 05:30 in the next morning, transferred to Sapa town. Refresh and have breakfast at the hotel. At 09:30, tour starts with the 6km (3.7mi) hike down to the southeast of Sapa, along the side of Muong Hoa Valley, to Y Linh Ho village, home of the Black H’mong folk.
Continue on 2,5 Km trekking down to Lao Chai Ta Van village, through terraced rice fields, to the Ta Van village of the Dzay people. Enjoy the stunning landscape on the way. Having lunch with a local family, and learn about the local architecture, daily lifestyles and customs. The last part will be another 2km trek to the bus stop in Tavan for the trip back to Sapa by jeep or minivan. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.
: Sapa -Cat Cat Village - Lao Cai
Take a 5km (3 mi) hike down walking to the southwest of Sapa for a visit to Cat Cat Village, the village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial period time in Vietnam. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the side of the river before a 3km (1.8mi) trekking to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, known as “the roof Top of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here, enjoy huge stunning landscapes before your climb. A jeep to will return you to Sapa. Taking a bus back to the train station, and enjoy local dinner before boarding the train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train. You arrive in Hanoi in early next morning around 5 AM
