Rise early this morning and board your boat for a visit to the fascinating floating market at Cai Rang. See local farmers trading their produce on the water as they have done for centuries. Continue on to a fruit orchard where you can sample some of the tropical fruits grown in this region and try some local tea, then enjoy a relaxing walk through the local village of Binh Thuy where you will get a real taste of a village along one of the smaller Mekong canals. Next stop is a visit to the Khmer Temple, Pothisomrom, in the town of O Mon. This is a very impressive Sakianuni Buddhist Temple that also serves as a Buddhist academy. It is unlike any other temple in Vietnam and this is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the long history and relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
