Step 3
Next, cross to the West Bank to explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal burial site of Egypt’s pharaohs. Enter three richly decorated tombs that reveal scenes from the afterlife and learn fascinating stories about their construction and preservation.
Step 4
Continue to the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece dedicated to one of Egypt’s most remarkable rulers. Your guide will share insights into her reign and achievements.
Before returning
stop at the Colossi of Memnon, where there are two massive statues that once guarded a grand mortuary temple.
