Then continue your day tour to Sakkara, located only 27 km southwest away from Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for King Zoser) is considered an important part of the process of the pyramid evolution, which was made from the simple mastaba to its widely known form.

We then proceed to visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, commonly known as the Egyptian Museum or the Museum of Cairo, which is home to an unparalleled collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in the heart of Cairo. The museum boasts over 120,000 artifacts, with a significant portion on display, while the rest are carefully stored. Established in 1901, the grand building was constructed by the Italian firm Garozzo-Zaffarani, following a design by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. It stands as one of the largest and most significant museums in the region. As of March 2019, the museum continues to welcome visitors, though it is set to be s쳮ded by the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, anticipated to open in 2021.
