Itinerary
Stop 1
Travelers will first select a design template or draw their own freehand onto plain cotton or silk before using a canting, a traditional copper tool with a spouted nib, to carefully trace these lines with hot, liquid wax, which acts as a resistant barrier. Once the wax outline cools and hardens, they will use brushes to apply vibrant fabric dyes within the sealed sections, knowing that wherever the wax has penetrated the cloth will repel the color and remain pristine. For more complex, multi-colored patterns, this meticulous process of waxing and dyeing is repeated for each new color, layer by layer, before the final, magical step where the finished creation is dipped in a chemical solution or boiling water to melt away all the wax, revealing the sharp, resist-defined masterpiece they created beneath.
beautiful surrounding area
Nestled within the lush jungle of Langkawi's northern hills, Durian Perangin Waterfall is a stunning multi-tiered cascade offering a serene escape into nature. Travelers can cool off in its refreshing natural pools, relax on the rocks surrounded by the sounds of the forest, and hike the well-maintained paths to discover the different levels of the falls. For those seeking an adrenaline-fueled journey to this destination, an ATV adventure is available (at an additional cost). This thrilling ride allows you to power through rugged jungle trails, navigate muddy tracks, and explore the beautiful surrounding area, which includes passing by serene lakes, weaving through historical rubber tree plantations, and discovering hidden pockets of the island's wild interior before arriving at the majestic waterfalls for a well-deserved rest.
