- Infant Safety: Professional child/infant seats are mandatory and provided for free. Please specify the age of children at the time of booking.
- Lassithi Climate: The plateau is at a high altitude; temperatures can be 10°C lower than the coast. Bringing a light jacket is advised.
- The Zeus Cave Hike: To reach the cave, there is a steep 15-20 minute walk. Donkey rides are available on-site for a fee (not included).
- Licensed Guides: Your driver is a local expert but not a licensed archaeological guide. They cannot accompany you inside the Palace of Knossos.
- Regional Pickups: Free pickup is for the Heraklion region only. For Rethymno, Agios Nikolaos, or Elounda, a surcharge applies. We will confirm the exact amount post-booking.
- Stroller Policy: While the vehicle is spacious, the sites (Knossos/Zeus Cave) are not stroller-friendly. A baby carrier is recommended.
