Itinerary

Welcome to Cat Ba National Park

8.00: Our guide/driver will pickup you at your hotel to take you to starting point - Cat Ba National Park Main Gate.

The tour begins with a visit to the Cat Ba National Park exhibition center, where you can view specimens of the park's flora and fauna. This provides a deeper understanding of Cat Ba Island's biodiversity.

Trung Trang Cave

8.30: Star cycle to Trung Trang Cave, a 300-metre limestone cave first explored in 1938. Step inside its cool chambers to see stalactites and stalagmites up to 6 million years old — and traces of its past as a naval hideout during the Vietnam War.

9.00: Back on your bike, ride towards the Cat Ba National Park gate. Here, take a short break while your guide shares information about the park’s and the Island.

Hien Hao commune

09:15: Continue to Hien Hao commune and challenge yourself on the island’s highest slope. Can’t make it all the way cycling? No problem — you can walk and soak in the view at your own pace.

10.00: Arrive at a local bee-keeping family home. Learn how they harvest honey, taste the fresh sweetness, and enjoy a light snack while relaxing in a peaceful countryside setting.

Lan Ha Bay View Point

10.15: Pedal along a quiet path through green rice paddies to the coast. At Hien Hao viewpoint, take in a breathtaking panorama of Lan Ha Bay from above — the perfect photo moment.

Back to hotel

10.30: Finally, return to the bee farm family to leave your bike, then your driver transfers you back to Cat Ba town center.

11:00: Tour ends at your hotel

  • The biking is at Easy level, which requires light activity such as cycling on mostly flat ground with occasional gentle slopes, suitable for beginners with average fitness.
  • If you feel like doing all the riding but with less effort, you'll have the option of hiring an electric bike
  • Visiting spot: Cat Ba National Park, Trung Trang Cave, Hien Hao commune
  • Riding area: along the side of Cat Ba National Park to Lan Ha Bay view point
