Hotel Pickup & Scenic Transfer
Your guide collects you from your accommodation and shares insights about the region as you journey toward the preserve.

Guided Jungle Hike to Summit
Begin a moderate to intense 5.1 km hike through tropical rainforest, with breaks along the way to rest and learn about the environment.

Waterfall Visit
Descend into a quiet valley to visit a double waterfall. Enjoy time to rest or take a refreshing swim.

Return to Summit & Sunset
Hike back to the summit at a comfortable pace and take in sunset views over the jungle canopy while enjoying a light dinner.

Night Hike Descent
With headlamps on, begin your descent as the rainforest transitions into its nighttime environment. Listen and look for nocturnal wildlife.

Return Transfer
Relax on the drive back to your accommodation after a memorable evening in Belize’s jungle.

What to Expect (Set Proper Expectations)

This experience involves a moderate to physically engaging hike, suitable for active travelers comfortable with uneven terrain and elevation. The pace is steady and guided throughout, with time for rest and enjoyment at key points.

Note: At times, the guide will discuss the different trails and may opt to do a specific one based on the weather, fitness level of participants or conditions of the trail. Safety is always the number one priority.

  • Booking Confirmation: You’ll receive confirmation at the time of booking.
  • Physical Fitness: Travelers should be in moderate physical condition.
  • Accessibility: This experience is not wheelchair accessible.
  • Children's Rate: Child pricing is valid only when accompanied by two paying adults.
  • Adult Supervision: Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Minimum Group Size: A minimum number of participants is required. If the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered an alternative date/experience or a full refund.
  • Dress Code: Wear light, breathable clothing suitable for the rainforest. If you prefer not to swim at the waterfall, that is completely optional.
  • Pick-Up Info (Placencia peninsula):
  • For most hotels and resorts, we can meet you directly at your location or the nearest main road.
  • If you’re staying along the Placencia Sidewalk, we’ll meet you at the closest sidewalk exit to the main road.
  • For properties north of Placencia Village, we offer pickup at your resort or rental along the main road.
  • Let us know your location, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
  • Voucher Options: Both paper and electronic vouchers are accepted.
