Itinerary

Step 1

Join a half-day tour to the Jozani Forest and the Rock Restaurant in Zanzibar. Explore the only national park in Zanzibar, home to the Red Colobos Monkey, and visit the Rock Restaurant, an extraordinary seafood restaurant located on a rock in the Indian Ocean.

Be picked up from your hotel and head to the Jozani National Park, home to the Red Colobos Monkey and the only National Park in Zanzibar. Enjoy walking around this beautiful nature park with a guide.

Explore the Jozani Forest, a natural pharmacy and an amazing source of natural remedies. Admire the height of the trees and the palms, and look out for rare red Colobus monkeys and the even rarer Zanzibar Sykes’ monkey, a unique species to Zanzibar.

Along with Red Colobus Monkeys, expect to see Bush baby, 50 different species of butterflies, and 40 species of birds. To protect the wildlife, it is not permitted to walk off the paths without an official guide. A network of various nature trails leads visitors through the forest.

After your visit to Jozani National Park, continue your adventure and be taken to the Rock Restaurant, an extraordinary seafood restaurant located on a rock in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The perfect place to take some nice holiday pictures.

Sit in the waters of the Indian Ocean, just a shot from the shore there is this rock. Technically, it's an island, but truly it's just a rock. And on top of it the Rock. A charming, exclusive restaurant that instantly became one of the icons of Zanzibar.

Decorated in a simple, local island style, the restaurant specializes in seafood and local tastes, easily meeting high international standards. Enjoy a local food lunch (a prior reservation from you is required, the price of lunch or dinner is not included).
