The avenue of Baobabs, located in the south of the country, is on the road between Morondava and Belon’i Tsiribihina. This remarkable attraction, also known as the Alley of Baobabs, is worldwide famous for its wondrous baobab trees on the road’s sides. Although there are more baobabs in between the cities than just the ones on the roads’ sides, the avenue of baobabs refers to the 250 m of the road with the most density of the trees on the sides.
