Chedi Phra That Mae Yen
Situated on a hill east of Pai, Chedi Phra That Mae Yen Temple is a local Buddhist temple initially built on the mountain. The temple houses two buildings and a few small golden chedis. Don’t ever miss out on the stunning scenery.
Pai Canyon
Pai Canyon, also known as Kong Lan, is one of the most famous natural attractions located 8 kilometers from the city. Take a 5-minute walk to the top of the canyon; you will find impressive and charming sceneries where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Visitors will soak up the solar star wane and its warm color on the landscape. Don’t miss out on taking some memorable adventurous photos while walking around the canyon. Pam Bok Waterfall
A lovely secluded waterfall surrounded by high cliffs, Pam Bok waterfall, is a cool place suitable for those escaping the heat. You can swim in an adorable tiny swimming hole under the waterfall; on the way, stop and relax at Land Split, a naturally occurring chasm caused by the earthquake in the ground that opened up mysteriously in 2008 and is now a popular tourist destination. The best way of getting to the site is to rent a scooter in Pai and drive about 20 minutes. There is a scenic road hosting rice fields, jungle, and traditional farming allotments.
Pai Land Split
The land split, a natural crack caused by an earthquake in 2008, is a very relaxing place where you’ll enjoy the owners’ hospitality. They welcome visitors by offering some fresh fruits from the garden, peanuts, banana chips, sweet potatoes, tamarind, Roselle juice, homemade juice, and wine.
Santichon Village
Santichon Village, also known as Chinese Yunnan village, is situated in northern Thailand, populated by Yunnan tribes. The home to a massive rock and a dragon creeping up a pole at the center of the site, the village is surrounded by numerous souvenir shops, Yunnan Chinese restaurants, and clay houses. You’ll find the chance to experience Chinese culture, such as the language, dressing, and especially the Yunnan foods that are well-cited among tourists.
